Message from the President
Dear Visitors,
Founded on November 7, 1907, Delta Sigma Pi is a professional fraternity organized to foster the study of business in universities. With over 226,000 members, we are one of the largest business fraternities across the nation.
The Pi Sigma Chapter at the University of California, Irvine was established on May 31, 2008. Our organization is dedicated to seeking the best of the best to promote professionalism and scholastic achievements. So how do we achieve professionalism? We hold professional events to inform our members, as well as our guests, on the ins and outs of different industries. We encourage networking during these events because nowadays, “it’s not what you know, but who you know.”
As stated in our purpose, we “encourage scholarship, social activities and the association of students for their mutual advancement by research and practice.” Due to the fact our members have similar interest in majors; we build on scholastic achievements by mentoring each other and helping each other out.
Besides professional events, we also have community services. In the past, we’ve helped out with many different associations such as Heart Walk, Relay for Life, and Working Wardrobe. As a well-rounded organization, we value giving back to the community.
