Jenny ZhouJenny Zhou is currently a fourth year at the University of California, Irvine. Born and raised in San Francisco, Jenny attended Galileo High School there. She is now pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Social Behavior and will graduate in June 2012.

In high school, Jenny participated in various organizations including Red Cross Club and Gardening Club, was the first chair violinist for the school orchestra, and worked at Coldstone Creamery. As shown in her high school activities, Jenny is a person that likes to try a wide range of activities in pursuit of finding her passions in hopes of leading a happy and meaningful life. This pursuit continued into her college career where she went through many phases of career goal changes.

So one might wonder what a Psychology major is doing in a professional business fraternity such as Delta Sigma Pi. Through much soul searching and mind changes, there was a time when Jenny once wanted to go into advertisement. She loved the interplay of creativity with hard work and mental collaboration that was required of advertisement, but alas realized that her personality was more suited for a career in a more social work related industry.

However, despite being focused in a career far from business related, her membership in Delta Sigma Pi was not in vain. She gained much professional knowledge that she could not have learned elsewhere, gained much understanding of working in a group of extremely diversified people, and also learned to become as ambitious and motivated as her fellow brothers regardless of career choice.
