Kevin Chung

Having just recently transferred to UCI, Kevin Chung was looking for an organization to join to take advantage of opportunities, and to make up for the time lost transferring in as a junior. Delta Sigma Pi provided the best opportunity for him to grow as a professional and find himself a group of friends that would last a lifetime.

Kevin is a Business Economics major and is keeping his options open in terms of a career. Consulting or a career in the accounting field might be a destination. He has a strong interest in sports statistics, particularly in the NBA. A career in that field would be a possible dream job.

Prior to transferring to UCI, he attended East Los Angeles College where he was Vice President for a semester in the Economics Student Association where he helped organize a competition on stock portfolio management. He was also part of the Speech and Debate team at East Los Angeles College where he furthered his public speaking skills and analytical skills. In high school, he was an active member in choir and enjoyed singing and volunteering for the community around him. He attended Mark Keppel High School and later transferred and graduated from Temple City High School. He has lived in many different areas of Southern California, including Inglewood, Los Angeles, and Monterey Park.

Kevin has a strong interest (or close to unhealthy obsession) in basketball, and enjoys playing as well as watching basketball. His favorite team is the Lakers and is a strong passionate fan. He also enjoys cooking, driving, and eating.
