This is Michael Toy. He was initiated into Delta Sigma Pi his second year, fall quarter, as part of the Epsilon pledge class. He thought pledging was both challenging and fun. He is proud to be a part of Delta Sigma Pi and has met many wonderful people because of it. Mr. Toy is currently a second year double majoring in Business Administration and in International Studies. With his Business Administration major, he is concentrating in Accounting because he likes the intricacy involved with numbers. With his other major, International Studies, he is focusing on Asia. He likes to learn about different cultures, customs, and places. In the summer of 2009, he studied abroad in Beijing, China, where he learned Mandarin for the first time. Though it was a very challenging program, he had fun and learned a great deal not only about the Chinese culture, but also himself. He hopes to go study abroad again and recommends that everyone should go abroad. He chose to double major in those two specific areas of study because he wants a career in international business. Mr. Toy also enjoys studying architecture and cooking. Michael Toy’s hometown is in San Mateo, California, near San Francisco. He has three main passions in life; traveling, food, and enjoying the simplicity of it all. Mr. Toy also loves to explore, surf, and do anything adventurous. He is a person who enjoys having fun and relaxing. |
