Molly Greathouse is a second year Business Economics and International Studies double major who is originally from Santa Barbara, CA. Molly first wanted to be only a Business Econ major, but once she graduated high school early and went to Santa Barbara City College and waited for UC Irvine to begin, she found her love for other cultures and interest in globalization.

In high school, Molly was an important member in the Junior State of America, a political organization geared towards high school students. She was not only in charge of her school’s chapter but also held state wide positions. When she wasn’t arguing about court case verdicts and/or policy, most of her free time was spent at RightScale, a cloud computing start up, in Sales Operations. She held this job from when she was 16 until she had to leave to come to Irvine in the fall of 2010.

At UC Irvine, Molly worked at Mesa Court her freshman year as a Community Programmer, where she planned, ran and cleaned up all of the activities put on in and by Mesa Court. After a brief stint of being a note taker for economics classes for the Disabilities Center on campus, she also began her job at CollegeFashionista, a fashion blog focused on (what else) college fashion, which she continues to work today.

After graduation, Molly hopes to start her own music marketing company, specializing in rap and hip-hop acts. Never really having been interested in the whole school concept, she figures going out into the real world and starting something organically will teach her more than an MBA ever could.

Other than working, Molly also likes listening to, and discussing in extreme detail, all kinds of music (even though her specialization is in hip-hop and rap), eating copious amounts of ice cream, and singlehandedly providing financial backing for the on campus Starbucks. Her hair changes color every few months, as does her favorite rapper, but Molly will always have extreme dedication to business and helping others succeed.
