I am Quantitative Economics major at the University of California, Irvine who transferred from El Camino College in Torrance, California. It was there that I experienced incredible growth physically, spiritually, and personally. After two fantastic years at community college, I transferred to UC Irvine in hopes of becoming a Mechanical Engineer. However, my plans changed after I discovered Quantitative Economics- a major that coupled my freakish love for math and my excitement for commerce.

My most notable accomplishments are my various awards and leadership positions I have held in the past. Such positions include Salsa Club President/ Salsa Team Captain, ASB Sergeant at Arms, and translator for mission trips to Mexico. I also hold an AP Scholar with Distinction award, Golden State Seal Bearer, and am an Eagle Scout from Troop 719, an honor I hold very dear to me.

Currently I am involved with the UC Irvine Salsa Team and Club, Edge Bible Study, and the Business Fraternity -Delta Sigma Pi. I also serve as a board member for the UC Irvine Salsa Club and am a member of two committees in Delta Sigma Pi.

For the immediate future, I plan to acquire an internship during the school year to gain experience in my concentration. After graduation, I plan to eventually attend graduate school for a Masters in Finance or Business Administration. My ideal profession is in the management or financial realm. However, these plans are always subject to change.

Personally, I enjoy many hobbies. I wielded my first paintball gun at the tender age of 11 and have been in love with the sport ever since. Not only that, but I'm also an avid soccer and football player. In fact, I'll play any sport that involves running -except baseball. Among other things, I also enjoy snowboarding, dancing, Backpacking (from Boy Scouting), comedies, and reading. Nevertheless, the pass time I enjoys most is being with friends in any setting.
